Since opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar has quickly established itself as Whistler’s leading dining destination, earning recognition as #2 Best New Restaurant in Canada by Air Canada enRoute and being named “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade” by Vancouver Magazine. The restaurant has continued to receive widespread acclaim, including Best Restaurant in Whistler and Readers’ Choice honours from Vancouver Magazine, while Condé Nast Traveler recognized Wild Blue as “The Hot Table to Book in Whistler.”

Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar is a distinguished fine-dining restaurant devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is led by an exceptional team of founding partners, including Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director, and Alex Chen, celebrated chef, Iron Chef, and recipient of Vancouver Magazine’s Chef of the Year honours. Executive Chef Derek Bendig brings extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary influence to Wild Blue’s culinary vision.

In October 2024, both Neil Henderson and Alex Chen were inducted into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame in recognition of their longstanding contributions to the industry.
