MENU ANNOUNCED FOR INAUGURAL WILD BLUE LONG TABLE DINNER

- Chefs Highlight Harvest Season with Local Ingredients - 

WHISTLER B.C., September 6, 2023 – Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has revealed its four-course menu with wine pairings ahead of the upcoming Alpine Long Table Dinner. This special feast, taking place this Sunday, September 10, highlights the bounty of Whistler’s backyard while giving guests an opportunity to enjoy an exclusive Wild Blue curated long table dining experience featuring the best of the harvest season. 

The menu, a collaboration by Chef Alex Chen and Executive Chef Derek Bendig, showcases the quality ingredients and truly lets them shine through an uncomplicated approach. “Our menu celebrates the endless possibilities of B.C. with everything at its peak ripeness, from a local farm in Whistler to the orchards of the Okanagan,” explains Chen. “We are lucky enough to have incredible diversity in our own backyard here in B.C.,” adds Wine Director Kathryn Woods. “Wine is an expression of the terroir it comes from and these pairings are a showcase of the commitment to soil and hard work that our wineries put forth every year.”

Guests will savour the beautiful sights and sounds of the surrounding mountains from host venue The Range at Whistler Golf Club while taking in the inaugural long table dining experience led by Wild Blue Restaurant Director Neil Henderson. Part proceeds from the Wild Blue Alpine Long Table Dinner will be donated to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation, benefiting residents of the Sea to Sky Corridor since 1992.
