Since its opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has garnered acclaim, being named #2 Canada’s Best New Restaurant in enRoute / Air Canada Magazine and #4 Best New Restaurant and securing an overall #66 ranking on Canada's 100 Best List for 2023, then climbing to #31 in 2024. Vancouver Magazine dubbed it “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade” then followed that with the award for Best Restaurant in Whistler, ‘Readers Choice Award 2024’ , while Condé Nast Traveler recognized it as “The Hot Table to Book in Whistler”.

Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, celebrated Iron Chef and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group. Our Executive Chef, Derek Bendig, adds his extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary touch to the artistry of Wild Blue.

Both Neil and Chef Alex Chen were also inaugurated into the BC Restaurant Association Hall of Fame in October 2024.
