We are seeking a talented and driven Chef de Cuisine to join our team alongside Chef / Partner Alex Chen and Executive Chef Derek Bendig. In this leadership role, you will oversee the kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and inventory management. Your innovative approach and meticulous attention to detail will be instrumental in elevating the success of our culinary operations.
Requirements:
Genuine passion for the culinary arts and a dedication to excellence.
Versatility to work effectively across all kitchen stations.
Strong interpersonal abilities and conflict resolution expertise.
Proven ability to manage food and labor costs.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role and environment.
Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting service deadlines and production schedules.
FoodSafe certification (or ability to obtain within one week of employment).
Proficiency in English.
Strong prioritization, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking.
Culinary training or apprenticeship certification; Red Seal or journeyman designation is a plus.
Outstanding leadership and motivational skills to inspire your team.
Sharp problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making.
Commitment to accountability, both personally and within the team.
