WILD BLUE RESTAURANT + BAR’S NEIL HENDERSON AND ALEX CHEN TO BE INDUCTED INTO BC RESTAURANT HALL OF FAME

WHISTLER, BC, June 13, 2024 - Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar is thrilled to announce that Partner and Restaurant Director Neil Henderson and Chef and Partner Alex Chen have been revealed as inductees into the prestigious BC Restaurant Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony, recognizing their significant contributions to the British Columbia restaurant scene, will take place in October.

Neil and Alex have been honoured under the "Local Champion" category, which celebrates individuals who have been leaders in supporting local BC food and beverage throughout their careers. This recognition highlights their commitment to promoting and showcasing the best of British Columbia’s culinary offerings.

Neil Henderson, with his extensive experience in the restaurant industry, has been instrumental in establishing Wild Blue as Whistler's premier dining destination. His unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience and his leadership in hospitality have been pivotal in the restaurant's success.

Chef Alex Chen, renowned for his culinary artistry and innovation, has brought a unique flair to Wild Blue’s menu. His dedication to using locally sourced ingredients and his creative approach to cuisine have earned him widespread acclaim and numerous accolades throughout his career.

This prestigious honour for Henderson and Chen follows the 2007 induction of Wild Blue Partner Jack Evrensel into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame in the Active Restaurateurs category, recognizing his contributions as Proprietor of Toptable Group.

The BC Restaurant Hall of Fame was established by the British Columbia Restaurant and Foodservices Association in 2004, with the first inductees honoured in March 2005. It remains the only Restaurant Hall of Fame in Canada, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to the restaurant industry in British Columbia, making it the finest in Canada.
