BC RESTAURANT HALL OF FAME

WHISTLER, BC (October 22, 2024)Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar is proud to announce that Partner and Restaurant Director Neil Henderson and Partner and Chef Alex Chen were officially inducted into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame last night. The ceremony, which took place in Vancouver, honoured their remarkable contributions to the British Columbia restaurant industry, particularly through their dedication to supporting local food and beverage.

Henderson and Chen were recognized under the "Local Champion" category, which celebrates individuals who have made a lasting impact on their communities by championing local products, fostering collaboration, and elevating the local culinary scene.

Chef Alex Chen, known for his culinary creativity and passion for local ingredients, has been a driving force behind Wild Blue's innovative menu. His approach to cuisine combines respect for regional produce with a flair for inventive dishes, which has made Wild Blue a favourite among food lovers in BC and beyond.

Neil Henderson's journey in the industry has been defined by his commitment to exceptional hospitality. As Partner and Restaurant Director, he has been integral in shaping Wild Blue into one of Whistler's most celebrated dining establishments, where guests enjoy not only outstanding cuisine but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Their induction into the Hall of Fame is a testament to the leadership, talent, and vision they bring to Wild Blue, following in the footsteps of their fellow partner, Jack Evrensel, who was inducted in 2007 for his contributions as the proprietor of Toptable Group.

The BC Restaurant Hall of Fame, founded by the British Columbia Restaurant and Foodservices Association, remains the only Hall of Fame dedicated to the restaurant industry in Canada, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to the culinary landscape of British Columbia.
